My Sister works at the Royal Brompton .
She told me around November last yr that Raymond had Benn in for a double bubble..
I recall asking her she had the right bod..she was sure..and said how great he was with the other patients after his op..chatting and just being a genuine geezer..

I think it would have been more respectful to observe the requested 1 minute applause.
I know a few are patting ourselves on the back for going the 'extra mile' but i found it a bit cringey

Done well yesterday and well deserved for Butch.
Cringed when in the championship though and there was a minutes silence at Coventry. Fuck knows what it was for, but a large amount of our fans were singing etc.
Not really a surprise considering the amount of people I saw openly snorting charlie that day!!!

Silence is definitely how it should be observed.
However, what you tend to get is the people that stay downstairs for a pint, come up just after the minutes silence has started... Unaware they're talking, shouting, singing as usual...
That leads to others shouting at them to be quiet etc. etc. and it spirals out of control from there.

We easily have the best fans in the capital by a country mile.
It's a shame that so many sneering GOGGLEBOXERS on here hate their own fans so much - mainly for not sporting camp little rolled-up chinos and wearing shoes without socks.

We were absolute class today. Took me back to when we did the same after George Best died when the cunts thought we’d fuck up a minute silence so did the applause thing, we were class then as well.
